Overshoot Day 2016 is an appropriate day to declare a Global Health Emergency to bring greater attention to our world’s unprecedented loss of life-sustaining capacity and the need to transform our lives and communities especially in the developed world from over consuming and wasteful, to significantly more efficient and sustainable around our limited resources as our natural finite world requires for sustained good health.

Marin Community Benefit Cooperative a project of OHIAS was Certified 10/22/2015 as a Marin County Construction and Deconstruction Recycling Facility by the Zero Waste Marin Board of Directors. MCBC specializes in high quality reuse materials sourced locally: wood, lumber, plywood, windows, glass, stone, hardware, fixtures, architectural elements and more.
