Marin Community Benefit Cooperative (MCBC) A Proposal

 

MCBC was founded in 2012 and was certified as a Marin County Recovery and Reuse Center by Zero Waste Marin in 2017 but found itself unable to gather necessary community interest and support. Years have past since then but need has only grown more important with the continued raise of global warming. Its purpose is to put discarded natural resources and idle human potential to work for the benefit of community and planet.

 

Reuse reduces local landfill and greenhouse gases while helping Marin's economy become significantly more circular (sustainable).

 

Putting solid waste to work makes our community ecologically and our economy far greener.
